"Art Blanche" is a little different than the rest of this site -- instead of featuring me behind the lens, it has me behind a keyboard. Born out of a love of album art and music photography, "Art Blanche" was a weekly column that I wrote for the 9:30 Club about the role of the visual arts in the music industry. During that time, I interviewed musicians, designers, photographers, illustrators, and the like about their work within the music industry to get an insight how some of our favorite album covers, music photographs, etc. have come to be.
